Homework for the Week of January 27th
5th Grade
Language Arts-
We are working on adjectives and descriptive language this week. We are reading the narrative, "Who as Helen Keller" in class.

Spelling packet is due Thursday, 11/30.
There will be a test will all the definitions on 11/30 as well.

6th Grade-
Language Arts- Vocabulary packets  are due Thursday and test will be Thursday. Continue to read, "Story of My Life."

Region- Tree collage due Tuesday

Homework for the Week of January 21st
5th Grade-
Language Arts
   -  The students were given a vocabulary packet that is due Thursday. They started in class. These will be assigned weekly from now on.

- They also need to get their homework journals signed. There is a note for parents regarding, names, dates, and titles on ALL papers.

6th Grade Language Arts- Students are responsible for reading  Chapters 6-8 this week in their Novel. Their will be a quiz on Thursday.

January 6th -10th Homework

5th grade-
Social Studies - 5th grade is learning the States and Capitols. They will be tested on the States only 1/14
They will be tested 1/21 on the Capitols.

Language Arts- 5th grade is looking at personal narratives. We will spend time once again with the story, Elisa's Diary, in order to do this. They will be spending a great deal of time with in class writing the next few weeks.

6th grade -  They will be downloading the novel, Helen Keller: The Story of My Life and begin looking at non-fiction narratives.
